DevOps is not a tool. It's not Docker. It's not Kubernetes. It's a discipline, the discipline of shipping software reliably, repeatedly, and without the 3 AM phone calls that happen when things break in production. Every modern engineering team practices some form of DevOps. The question is whether they do it well or badly. This course teaches you to do it well. You'll start with Linux, because everything in DevOps runs on Linux. Then Git, because you can't automate what you can't version control. Then CI/CD pipelines that automatically test, build, and deploy code every time someone pushes a change. Then Docker, because containerization is how modern applications are packaged. Then Kubernetes, because that's how they're orchestrated at scale. By the end, you'll understand the full lifecycle: a developer writes code, pushes it to Git, a pipeline picks it up, tests it, builds a container, and deploys it to a Kubernetes cluster, automatically, reliably, every single time. That's DevOps. And companies pay extremely well for people who can set it up.
